Building Boardwalks

Woodworkers, LLC is professionally well suited to pair the three disciplines of framing, flooring and finish carpentry to support Connecticut’s efforts to make open space accessible to all, by constructing boardwalks for contractors, municipalities, quasi-public agencies and private parties.

The boardwalk market was identified as we built a boardwalk for a local trail organization connecting highs and lows in the terrain for ADA compliance. The project brought joy to our team and the many we observed using the boardwalk to access nature.

Since our entering the market, we have constructed boardwalks over wetlands for several private residences and an elevated boardwalk over a roadway for a private school.

Woodworkers, LLC seeks practices to promote longevity, however wood outside has a life cycle. We replace and repair aging boardwalks as well.
